Choose the Right Wireless Mouse

You might be using a wired mouse that came with your computer. However, it’s nice to have an upgrade to a wireless mouse. But how to choose the wireless mouse that is right for you. Here, we explore following features to let you know how you can choose the wireless mouse that is perfect for you.

Size and Grip


The first thing to consider before buying the wireless mouse is the size. People have different sized hands, and prefer one mouse over the other for this major reason. It’s recommended to hold the mouse in your hand before buying it; to get an idea of how it feels.. There are two main grips that people use i.e. palm and claw. Palm grip is the most use grip and is used with traditional bulky mouse it’s most comfortable but less precise. Claw grip is used by the gamers and are smaller in size, they are more precise, however it more straining on the hand.

Sensitivity


The sensitivity of the mouse means how small of a movement you need to make the cursors move across your computer screen. The sensitivity of the mouse is important when you are doing tasks that require attention to details e.g. image editing and aiming in first-person shooter.  You might have noticed, with mouse with slow sensitivity, you have to drag the mouse back to the mouse pad by jerking it one or two times. However, with high-sensitivity mouse you don’t have to do this tedious thing. Only a fraction of grip movement yields massive cursor motion.

Sensors


Now a day, we have technology like optical sensor and laser sensors. Optical sensor has a small LED light usually red or blue in color. The optical sensor mice are better than traditional track ball mouse because they do not need regular clean-ups. Secondly, we have laser sensors which are more advance than even optical sensors. Laser sensor has very high DPI and operates through infrared technology instead of LED. The laser sensor has to be used in conjunction with a special mouse pad to streamline the sensitivity a bit. Get a mouse with 1200 DPI or higher for nice sensitivity.

Types of Mice & Buttons


Apart from classing two button mice, we have mice that offer more than two buttons. This includes a scroll wheel to scroll up and down with more speed. This allows for easier navigation and smoother reading experience. Additionally, mice come with thumb buttons to navigate back and forward in a web browser. There are also various types of mice. The more prominent are travel mouse and gaming mouse. The travel mouse is small and compact that easily fits in a bag. The gaming mouse is specifically built for better gaming experience.

Political Leadership Day 6

Day 6 Political Leadership On the morning of sixth and final day of YLC, we had our breakfast and CheckOut as was requested. Then whoever wanted to play Rang De, did it in the Tents of the Parking lot. I prefered not to participate because of the mess it will create. Olaf Kelleroff founder of Friedrich Nauman, an NGO, give us a lecture on History of Revolution. For the reference he used French Revolution. He reminded us what revolution meant in those days. Whenever some one talks about Revolution, image of violence and bloodshed comes to mind. But its not true a Revolution can be peaceful.  Its not necessary to overthrow Monarchy and bring Democray like in French Revolution. Whenever there is a dramatic shift in thinking, mindset and ideologies of masses Revolution follows. International Economic Leadership Day 4

Day 4 International Economic Leadership  We woke up in our rooms of Country Side Chalet and made our way to the Mess for Breakfast. After Breakfast we went to the Main Hall where our guest speaker was waiting for us. The speaker was CEO of Habib Bank Abbas Habib. He shared his Personal Story of his career. He said his life was a long struggle before he could settel at Habib Bank as CEO. He had a degree in Accountancy. The Habib bank CEO story was followed by a Panel Discussion on Career Management. There were some known names of the business industry. The guests in the panel included, Ali Khurram Pasha of Faisal Bank, Faizaan of Unilever, Jehan Arah Pasha and Faisal Farooq Zia Udin.  Participants ask them about how to choose a best career for themseleves as well as what steps to take in the same career to go higher and higher.
